My Review

I wasn't brave enough to take the plunge down Kingda Ka, but found plenty of thrilling roller coasters (with reasonable wait times, too, since this was late-summer/early fall).

The Superman Ultimate Flight coaster, surprisingly, did successfully mimic the feeling of flying (or, at least, I think it did since I haven't actually flown... yet), and the Nitro and Bizarro coasters were definite highlights too.

As a basketball player (and, ahem, three-point specialist), I have to admit that I found the three-point shootout game, which is styled after the NBA All-Star Weekend format, quite fun, even though my shooting was uncharacteristically off.

Lord knows there are plenty of food options--and some good ones--but the prices, which I suppose are typical of most theme parks, were a little silly, especially for common beverages like bottled water and Gatorade.

All in all we had a great time and will definitely be back.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes

Arthur Levine, Theme Parks Guide, says:

Bossk9 brings up a great point about the price of the food. Yikes! Six Flags may have radically discounted its admission fees, but the wacky food costs can really add up. Maybe Bossk9 can work up the courage to tackle Kingda Ka someday--and take on the three-point shoot out again. Thanks for writing.
