As Insanity revs up to 40 mph, it will deliver about three Gs of centrifugal force and lift riders up to a 70-degree angle. That will put intrepid passengers in a precarious straight-down position overlooking Vegas' famed strip, some 900 feet below. The Stratosphere describes the ride's seats as "escape-proof."
