MARYLAND

Six Flags America

Nothing major announced for the 2007 season.

MASSACHUSETTS

Six Flags New England
Agawam, MA (near Springfield, MA and Hartford, CT)
New Thomas the Tank Engine and Wiggle's World lands
(Very) young children will want to explore the new Wiggle's World and Thomas & Friends areas, with characters, rides, and shows based on the popular TV programs.

Six Flags St. Louis
Eureka, near (...come on, you know what city it's near)
Tony Hawk's Big Spin
A spinning coaster based on the popular skateboarder debuts this season. With a height of 48 feet and a top speed of 31 mph, this will be a relatively mild family coaster.

NEW JERSEY

Six Flags Great Adventure
Jackson, NJ
Wiggle's World and Wild Safari Exploration Station
A new Wiggle's World area will have (very) young children wiggling along to rides and shows based on the popular TV program. And, after guests drive through the Wild Safari, they will be able to park, leave their cars, and interact with animals, such as exotic birds, snakes, and monkeys, at the new Exploration Station.

NEW YORK

The Great Escape
Queensbury (near Lake George), New York
Tornado

Darien Lake
Darien Center (near Buffalo), New York
To help relieve its debt, Six Flags sold the park. It will be open for the 2007 season (and beyond), but it will not bear the Six Flags name.

TEXAS

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
San Antonio, TX

Six Flags Over Texas
Arlington (near Dallas), TX
Cirque Dreams Coobrila
A new high-energy show modeled after Cirque du Soleil debuts this season. The nonsense word "Coobrila" is a combination of the words cooler, brighter, and later. The park will offer late-night presentations of the new pyrotechnics-heavy show and will remain open later than past seasons.

CANADA

La Ronde
Montreal, Quebec
The park celebrates its 40th anniversary this season.
