Preview Photos of Gatekeeper Winged Coaster Coming to Cedar Point in 2013

In 2013, coaster-crazy Cedar Point will uncage GateKeeper, a new winged coaster that will include some wild and wacky elements. it will be located at the very front of the park, virtually on top of the main entrance.

As its name implies, a winged coaster positions passengers on the "wings" of the train. Instead of being above the track, riders will sit either to the left or right of it. With nothing above or below them, they will be unencumbered -- not unlike winged birds in flight.
