The Colorado park doesn't skimp on the thrills. From six-story tall speed slides to the high-banked hills of a half-pipe ride, to a launched water coaster, to bowl rides, there are plenty of ways to pump up the adrenaline while cooling down. But Water World offers a bunch of slides and other watery fun for young children, including Wally World, an entire dedicated area for wee folk. Older, but somewhat timid visitors can also find plenty to do with a lazy river, wave pool, and other low-impact attractions.
The park offers an impressive array of dining choices including the all-you-can-eat spread, Pharoah's Feast Buffet. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, and Water World provides picnic areas, which is a rare and welcome feature among major water parks. (Also rare and definitely welcome: The parking is free.)
