Water Country USA Overview:
One of the country's biggest and most popular water parks, Water Country USA is part of the SeaWorld Parks chain. Combo passes are available, but the nearby Busch Gardens requires a separate ticket from the water park.
Undeniably large and loaded with slides and other watery attractions, Water Country USA nonetheless is missing some of the signature rides found at other large water parks, such as a water coaster, funnel ride, or surfing ride. Few parks, however, can boast a ride such as Vanish Point, in which riders enter capsules and exit through trap doors into wildly fast speed slides. Other highlights include the family raft rides, Aquazoid and Big Daddy Falls, the fast-moving and geyser-rigged Hubba Hubba Highway, and the multi-lane mat racing slide, Nitro Racer.
Little kids will find plenty of tyke-sized slides and attractions. Rare for a water park, Water Country USA offers shows in its Caban-A-Rama theater. In addition to water park fun, visitors can (for extra fees) try swimming lessons and water exercise classes. The special classes require advance reservations.
