Deep River Water Park Overview:
Deep River offers a tide--err, I mean wide variety of watery wonders for all ages and adrenaline preferences. The stout of heart (and stomach) will enjoy equal parts flash and splash while plummeting down the Dragon's dual speed slides or any of the Storm's three enclosed tube slides, each of which can be seen towering five stories over the rest of the park. More thrills and spills can be found on the exciting Pipeline Express, SLIDEwinder Body Slides, and Double Dueling Cannon Bowl Ride, among others.
Of course, there are plenty of options for the less vertically inclined as well, including the relaxing Bayou River Ride, the kid-oriented Paddles' Play Zone, the 500,000 gallon Rip Tide Wave Pool, the aforementioned "Water Wars" zone (kids vs. adults anyone?) and the ocean-sized (in name, at least) Mayor Byrdovich's Wet, Wild, and Awesome Courthouse.
One unique feature of Deep River Waterpark is that each year, from approximately Thanksgiving through the end of February, the main plaza is transformed into a winter wonderland for ice skating and other frosty delights.
