A new park for 2008, Aquatica at SeaWorld Orlando offers a highly themed South Sea Islands atmosphere, lush landscaping, lots of water rides and attractions for all ages and thrill levels, including some with unique features, and, because it's SeaWorld, opportunities to interact with animals. Perhaps its most unique attraction is side-by-side clear water slides that shoot riders underwater where they encounter black and white Commerson’s dolphins. The Splashwater Kingdom water park will debut a bowl ride. The water slide will send riders aboard tubes down a tunnel and into a bowl where they will swish around a few times before getting flushed out the bottom into a splashdown pool.

The classic Clementon Park, which turns 100 this year, will have new owners, new management, a new look, and a huge new interactive water play structure when it opens this spring. The south Jersey park located near Philadelphia, will be adding Laguna Kahuna to its adjacent water park, Splash World, which is included with general admission. The Polynesian-themed multi-level structure will offer watery diversions such as sprayers, water slides, bridges, and a big dump bucket that will rain down on guests every few minutes.
