Wild Adventures Overview:

Rather than focusing on one attribute (like coasters and thrill rides at Six Flags or marine life exhibits at the SeaWorld parks), Wild Adventures offers a wide variety of ways to have fun. Sure, there are thrills to be had, but the park also features a good-sized water park (included in general admission), lots of animals (that's the "wild" part, I guess), and an ambitious schedule of concerts (also included in admission) with major-label stars.

The rides are largely off-the-shelf numbers, including a Wild Mouse, a shoot-the-chutes boat ride, a freefall tower, and a pendulum pirate ship. The park's wooden coaster, Cheetah, generally gets high marks from fans. Its river raft ride, Tasmanian River Rapids, has a unique whirlpool effect which induces lots of spinning.

Unlike most seasonal parks, Wild Adventures has an extended schedule that makes it available ten months out of the year. (Generally, the park is closed only in January and February.)
