The inverted steel coaster Patriot delivers two minutes and 18 seconds of spine-tingling excitement. While hanging beneath the track, riders climb a 149-foot lift hill, then plunge down a 123-foot curved drop at 60 mph. This is followed by an 89-foot vertical loop, a zero-gravity roll, an Immelmann loop, an inclined banked curve, an s-curve, a corkscrew, and a high-speed spiral. Extra-charge attractions include go-karts, a rock climbing wall, and the RipCord free fall Skycoaster.
For the more level headed (literally and metaphorically), Camp Snoopy invites kids to explore dozens of gentler rides and attractions with the world famous PEANUTS characters, including Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy. There is also a wide variety of live entertainment scheduled throughout the season, as well as the recurring HalloWeekends--Kansas City's largest collection of haunted attractions--scheduled throughout mid-Fall. (Note that theme park enthusiasts also have the option of staying overnight at the Worlds of Fun Village, a cabin, cottage, and RV resort.)
