Minnesota's biggest park, Valleyfair offers a great collection of roller coasters and thrill rides. The signature Wild Thing hypercoaster offers a particularly thrilling experience. The park is owned and operated by Cedar Fair, which also includes Cedar Point and Knott's Berry Farm in its portfolio; however, Valleyfair doesn't feature the Snoopy characters found at those other parks.
General admission includes access to the adjacent Whitewater Country Waterpark, although the area is small and lacks a wave pool and some of the other attractions typically found at water parks. Valleyfair does offer activities for younger children, including the KidWorks area with pint-sized rides and an interactive Foam Ball Factory. Valleyfair has live stage shows, as well as an onsite IMAX theater that shows large-screen films and is included with the general admission. Up-charge attractions include go-karts, mini-golf, and the RipCord freefall Sky Coaster.
