New for 2007: Firehawk, a flying coaster came to Kings Island, and was relocated from Geauga Lake (where it was known as X-Flight). Also, Son of Beast, the world's tallest wood coaster, lost its signature loop.
Indoor water park: The Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park at Kings Island is open to registered guests of the resort.
The Nickelodeon characters, such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer meet and greet children in the park and provide inspiration for some of the rides, including the Fairly Odd Coaster, The Wild Thornberrys River Adventure, and Little Bill's Giggle Coaster. The park offers shows as well, including musicals and fireworks.
The adjacent Boomerang Bay water park is included with admission and offers slides, a wave pool, interactive water play station, and a lazy river. Among the featured attractions is Tazmanianr Typhoon, a funnel ride, and Surfer's Paradise, a FlowRider surfing attraction.
