Indiana Beach Amusement Resort Admission Policy:
Indiana Beach offers a variety of pricing and ride packages. Entrance to the amusement park is free, while admission to the sand beach, rides, games, water park, and other attractions must be purchased separately. The Pay-One-Price Ride Session Pass is available daytime or evening, along with a Combination Ride & Water Park Pass, which offers use of both the amusement and water park attractions. Located in northwest Indiana on Lake Shafer, four miles north of Monticello, Indiana, 110 miles south of Chicago and 95 miles north of Indianapolis.
Recommended route: I-65 to U.S. 24, then 20 miles east to Monticello.

The unique coaster will have a 120-degree first drop--that's a 30-degree incline from a 90-degree straight drop. That's nuts! At a height of 96 feet and a top speed of 41 mph, it will fall within the "family coaster" category, but the angle of the drop will be unnerving.

While the subtitular "Amusement Resort" in Indiana Beach's complete name might seem a bit highfalutin, that doesn't mean it isn't deserved. With the Boardwalk Funway featuring 5 great coasters, including the Cornball Express (at one point voted the #1 Wooden Coaster in the world), 28 additional fun rides, dozens of games, a large sightseeing paddle wheel boat, miniature golf, and a Kiddyland, Indiana Beach has certainly gone out of its way to prove its slogan, "there's more than corn in Indiana."
In addition to the numerous interactive park elements listed above, Indiana Beach also offers a variety of live entertainment throughout the season, including new shows every year in the Aqua Theater and their regularly scheduled Water Thrill & Stunt Spectacular, which turns the normally placid waters of Lake Shafer into a flashy, splashy whirlpool of excitement day after day.
