Grand Empire Indoor Theme Park Resort Overview:
The ambitious resort is still in the development stages, but plans for the 200,000-square-foot Grand Empire indoor theme park call for a Hanging Gardens of Babylon theme (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) and three unique roller coasters. Note that plans may change as the project evolves. The Splash Party will be a suspended rolling coaster, in which the trains will hang from the track above. Riders will sit in chair-lift style seats with their feet dangling. The coaster will swoop down into pools of water and splash riders' feet. The coaster will travel through and between both the indoor theme park and the indoor water park. Guests at the parks will be able to use water cannons and drench the coaster's riders.

The Big Air! Coaster will launch riders outside up a huge vertical tower. As its name implies, the coaster will be designed to deliver some big airtime. There also plans to include a motorbike coaster, in which riders will sit on motorcycle-style seats instead of conventional coaster seats. The Grand Empire will also include at least one family coaster, according to its developers.

In addition to the theme park, the resort will reportedly include a 170,000-square-foot indoor water park, a hotel with over 1000 rooms, a performing arts center, a dining-shopping-entertainment area, and a 450-unit condominium development.
