It's not particulalrly big, but families with younger children might enjoy spending some time at Frontier Town as part of their visit to Ocean City. If you are expecting rides such as a mine train coaster or a log flume (which would certainly fit the western theme), forget it cowboy. It's not that kind of a theme park. The only rides are a horse-drawn stagecoach, a miniature train, and pony rides. It's more of an immersive experience in a small Wild West town with staged shootouts, a saloon, a Native American village, and other attractions.
The adjacent water park, which requires a separate admission, is also quite small. It offers one major water slide, a lazy river, and a few other ways to get wet. Additional attractions include cowboy-themed mini-golf, an arcade, and restaurants.
The resort features the Frontier Town campground with 500 sites and a marina along Sinepuxent Bay. The campground offers cabins and rental trailers. A second campground, Fort Whaley, is located a few miles away.
The theme park, water park, and Frontier Town campground are all located in Berlin, Maryland. (Fort Whaley campground is in Whaleyville, Maryland.)
