There'll be plenty of attractions debuting at California parks in 2007. Let's take a park-by-park look at all of the new fun.

Disneyland Resort
Anaheim, CA
Year of a Million Dreams, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Rockin' Space Mountain

After wrapping its successful 50th-anniversary celebration of Disneyland last year, Disney launched the multi-park event, The Year of a Million Dreams (which curiously spans 15 months and will continue through the end of 2007). The highlight of the event is a Disney Dreams Giveaway sweepstakes that awards large, small, and one-of-a-kind prizes, such as a night's stay at the new Mickey Mouse Penthouse, a tricked-out Mouse pad atop the Disneyland Hotel.

Knott's Berry Farm

Sierra Sidewinder
A spinning coaster is coming to Knott's in 2007.

Legoland California
Carlsbad (near San Diego), CA
Captain Cranky’s Challenge and Miniland Las Vegas
A new kiddie ride comes to the park's Pirate Shores land, and Las Vegas gets the Legoland treatment with miniature models of famous casinos such as the Luxor, Paris, and The Mirage.

Six Flags Magic Mountain
Valencia (near Los Angeles), CA
Psyclone and Flashback
I doubt any ride fans will be particularly upset or surprised to learn that Six Flags Magic Mountain is giving the heave-ho to its Psyclone and Flashback coasters. The problem-prone rides will be removed this season.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
Vallejo (near San Francisco), CA
Thomas the Tank Engine Rides
The park that used to be known as Six Flags Marine World will feature a new area themed to the popular children's TV and book series, Thomas the Tank Engine. There will be new rides and characters to meet.
