OK, so nobody would ever mistake New Jersey for Africa. But the Wild Safari is quite well done. The 1200-or-so animals at the 350-acre safari roam more or less freely. That means that some of them wander over to the SUVs and peek into the windows. And the giraffes have been know to poke their heads through the open sunroofs of cars and slobber all over the interior--you've been forewarned!
Among the animals at the Wild Safari are elephants, camels, lions, white tigers, kangaroos, rhinos, and zebras. The Exploration Station allows guests to interact with animals, including an adorable capuchin monkey. There are also educational shows and demonstrations.
