The folks who operate The Bay indoor water park, which is now part of the Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park complex, probably don't make the "America's Largest Indoor Water Park" claim any more. But when I took the picture above in 2004, many parks, including the nearby Wilderness and Kalahari, had far surpassed The Bay's 55,000 square foot size. At one time (perhaps when it put the "America's largest" tag on its older brochures and signs), The Bay may have held legitimate bragging rights, but by today's standards, it is an average-sized indoor water park.
