Sun Island Water Park Resort Overview:
When (if?) it opens, the Sun Island Water Park Resort will feature one of Illinois' largest (and among the industry's larger) indoor water parks. It will also feature a good-sized outdoor water park area. The resort will include 400 to 500 condominium-hotel rooms, many of them family suites. Some of the rooms will be sold as condos. Sun Island will offer a 20,000-square-foot dry play area with climbing towers and an arcade, a conference center, banquet rooms, and restaurants.
