The Crosswinds Resort will include a huge indoor water park with Florida Keys theming. It will feature a generous array of attractions including a Zip uphill water coaster, a FlowRider surfing attraction, a family raft ride, a bowl ride, a lazy river, and an indoor/outdoor spa. It will also offer a unique Boomerang halfpipe ride as well as an interactive play center with small slides and a tipping bucket.
In addition to the indoor water park, The Crosswinds Resort will offer an impressive array of amenities. The complex will include The Crosswinds, a main 350-room South Beach/Art Deco themed hotel along with a 350-room Crown Plaza hotel, a 200-room Intercontinental Hotel Indigo, and an all-suite hotel to be named. Other features of the resort will include a huge conference center and ballroom facility, a restaurant/retail/entertainment area called City Walk Village, a spa, and a video arcade. According to its developers, Grand Isle will be a $375-million resort.
