McHenry, Maryland. The property will be located adjacent to Garrett County Fairgrounds and near Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Ski Resort.
The water park will be open to registered guests of the resort's hotel. Limited day passes, based on availability, will be available to the general public.

The resort is 2 hours from Pittsburgh and 3 hours from Baltimore and DC.

The Aqua Mountain Resort will include a large indoor water park with a rustic Adirondacks theme. It will feature a generous number of water slides, although, according to the info released thus far, it will not offer any signature attractions such as an uphill water coaster, a FlowRider surfing attraction, or a family raft ride. It will also feature a retractable roof that could be opened when the weather allows in the summer.
In addition to the indoor water park, The Aqua Mountain Resort will offer a 165-unit hotel with suites and lofts as well as 60 log cabin condos. Other features of the resort will include restaurants, a spa, banquet services, and a game room arcade.
