Like its antecedent, riders experience whipping sensations. Unlike The Whip, which typically featured vehicles arranged around a large oval and only delivered its fishtailing thrills at the two far ends of the oval, the Junkyard Jamboree is arranged as a series of interlocking circles that spin in alternate directions and move the vehicles all around the ride platform. It doles out its surprisingly potent whips -- don't worry it's much more fun than thrilling -- at a rapid pace and in both directions as the tractors move to and fro.
The ride is presented as a square dance with Mater acting as the caller. He sings a series of original, extremely silly songs, interspersed with even sillier jokes.
The minimum height for the Junkyard Jamboree is 32".
