The authentic steam train is the star attraction here. Also includes some kiddie rides. Special events include the fall Cranberry Harvest Festival and the holiday-themed Festival of Lights. All aboard!

One of the country's oldest parks, Elitch Gardens moved from its original home to its present location in the 1990s. Some remnants of its historic past remain, including the Twister II wooden coaster, a re-creation of Elitch's famous Mister Twister, and its 1920's carousel. Includes a waterpark at no additional charge. Six Flags, which had run the park, sold it in 2007.

Storybook Lane, Western Town, and Old Europe are among the park's themed areas. Rides include the unique Ice Mountain Bobsled roller coaster. The cars hug the ride's tunnels so closely that they include Plexiglas shields to prevent passengers from placing themselves in harm's way.

The park used to be run by Six Flags. It is now known as Wild Waves. More a waterpark than a ride park, Wild Waves offers a modest assortment of thrills, including a steel looping coaster and a splashdown ride.
