Overview:
The Polynesian secured its place in amusement history by being the first resort to introduce an indoor water park. Its success inspired the explosion of water park resorts in Wisconsin Dells and beyond. Mega Dells resorts such as the Great Wolf and the Wilderness have since overshadowed the trendsetter. The Polynesian now markets itself to families with young children.
