You're Fired! Now Get Out of Here and Ride Spider-Man.
Friday February 25, 2005
Do you think you have what it takes to suffer the boardroom slings and arrows of Donald Trump? If so, get your greedy self over to Universal Orlando tomorrow (Saturday, February 26) when representatives of La Donald's "The Apprentice" TV show and its sister program, “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart,” will be holding a casting call. If Universal really wants to play up the synergy between the theme parks and its new corporate family member, NBC, maybe it should develop Trump- and Stewart-themed attractions. How about The Amazing Adventures of Donald Trump in which guests travel through a series of failed businesses and get tormented by an animatronic Trump? For the finale, one of his associates pushes your vehicle off the top of Trump Tower. Fortunately, all is well when an emergency landing in his comb-over cushions the fall. Casting call interviews will take place at the groove (a nightclub that's so hip, it doesn't even need capital letters) in CityWalk, starting at 10 a.m. Wristbands will be distributed from 9 a.m. to noon. For more info, visit NBC.com. If the TV gig doesn't work out tomorrow, at least you could take a ride on Men in Black Alien Attack.
