Parks love to sling the hype. Everything is the BIGGEST! NEWEST! FASTEST! MOST THRILLING! Sometimes, however, less is more. Case in point: The Wooden Warrior at Quassy amusement park in Connecticut. The diminutive coaster scales a mere 33-foot lift hill and reaches a top speed of 35 mph. And yet, it packs a mighty punch. One of the reasons it does so much with so little it its unique Timberliner train, which is the first of its kind in the U.S. (and only the second installation in the world). Find out what makes the train so exceptional and why the ride is so wonderful in my coaster review of Wooden Warrior.
