We are still in the throes of summer, but parks have already begun looking ahead to the fall and Halloween. Universal Studios Florida, for example, will be scaring the living daylights out of patrons once again at its 22nd annual Halloween Horror Nights. This year's event will present new mazes based on the cable show and comic book, The Walking Dead; the horror film and video game series, Silent Hill; and the seminal album, Welcome to My Nightmare, from classic rocker/horror-meister Alice Cooper. The naughty Silent Hill nurses, who have an, ahem, unique way of taking blood samples, should be particularly unnerving. In typical Universal fashion, it's sure to be an in-your-face, high-octane event. Read more about Florida's Halloween Horror Nights 2012.
