Jay Peak knows a thing or two about sliding down slippery slopes. For decades, it has been one of New England's most popular ski resorts. As part of an expansion that will add more year-round attractions to the resort's menu of fun, Jay Peak is building a 50,000-square-foot indoor water park. When it opens in January 2012 (according to plans), the weatherproof park will offer the usual gaggle of slides and other watery diversions--as well as a few unique features. Read about the world's first indoor AquaLoop (in which riders will experience a near-vertical water slide loop), the retractable roof, the dual FlowRider, and more coming to the Jay Peak water park.
