Every Picture Tells a Story--Don't It?
Thursday August 14, 2008
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then About.com's Travel Guides have what must be the equivalent of, oh, a bazillion words' worth of pictures. I enjoy bringing you news, reviews, info, and, of course, pictures about the world of parks (and I hope you enjoy receiving it), but my site is part of the larger About.com Travel Channel, and we have a slew of talented folks who are equally passionate about their topics. We've banded together for the first-ever About.com Travel Blog Carnival. For our kick-off topic, "Eye-Popping Travel Photos," I submitted the Cypress Gardens shot, taken at the photogenic Florida park, to the right. My globe-trotting colleagues contributed some stunning shots, which can be accessed at Nancy Parode's About.com site, Senior Travel. Pull up an armchair, click on over, and enjoy some virtual traveling.
