The art of roller coaster computer animation has certainly improved over the last few years. Case in point: Check out the new preview videos for Diamondback, the snake-themed hypercoaster coming to Kings Island in 2009. There are three different videos showing the highly anticipated ride from three different perspectives, plus an overview video that combines footage from the other three. With fairly realistic graphics and sound, the videos do a great job giving a sense of the ride experience and getting coaster fans like me (and you?) pumped up about Diamondback.
