Fall for Theme Park Vacation Deals

Friday September 14, 2007
It's a classic case of supply and demand. With the kids back in school, the destination parks in Florida and California see their attendance numbers plummet in the fall. That means smaller crowds and good deals for autumn theme park trips. On my Florida Travel Deals page for example, I've got info about a Walt Disney World package that includes hotel and parks tickets that works out to a rate of about $58 per night for a Disney Value Resort hotel. The deal is good for arrival dates through December 23, but you'll have to hurry and book it by September 26. The Orlando Visitors Bureau has put together an "Endless Summer" fall promotion in which participating hotels are offering a third night free for two-night stays. See my updated Florida Travel Deals and California Travel Deals pages.

Each set of cards runs for one year – the current set will be valid through May 31st 2010, then a new set of discounts will become available for the following 12 months.

Discounts are available on well-known hotels, golf courses, shopping malls, vacation rentals and more.
