Walt Disney World Shatters $70 Threshold

Tuesday August 7, 2007
Effective this week, it's going to take a little more cheese to get into Florida's Mouse House. It wasn't that long ago that Walt Disney World broke the once-unthinkable $50 barrier; it now costs a cool $71, up from $67, to purchase a one-day, one-park ticket. Ouch! However, multi-day tickets, particularly the 4- through 10-day passes, offer substantial savings. Along with the price increases, Disney has made a few other significant changes to its "Magic Your Way" ticket program. For example, it is NOT offering any discounts for tickets purchased online in advance. But it has increased the number of visits to its water parks and other attractions included in the "Water Park Fun & More" upgrade. You can read about the price increases plus learn tips to help navigate through the Byzantine ticketing program and get the best value for your theme park vacation in my Walt Disney World Magic Your Way guide.
