Water Parks Spotlight: Indiana's Splash Down Dunes and Deep River

This time of year, folks in and around Indiana looking to beat the heat can head to a number of water parks, including Splash Down Dunes and Deep River. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan near South Bend and Chicago, Splash Down Dunes offers a lot of ways to get wet, including a huge wave pool and a 68-foot tall water slide complex. Deep River, also in the northern part of the state near Chicago, offers the usual water park suspects--wave pool, lazy river, water slides, and the like--but also features a "Water Wars" interactive challenge attraction and a unique Double Dueling Cannon Bowl Ride.
