The Wiggling Begins on Monday

Seasonal parks, such as Six Flags Great Adventure, are--finally!--reopening. The New Jersey park and the adjacent Wild Safari celebrate opening day this Monday, April 2. Among the new features this season will be a Wiggles World land with rides and shows based on the popular TV program. (Six Flags New England and Six Flags Great America, near Chicago, will debut Wiggles World lands this season as well.) Also, after guests drive through the Wild Safari, they will be able to park, leave their cars, and interact with animals, such as exotic birds, snakes, and monkeys, at the new Exploration Station. Old favorites, including the world-record-holding Kingda Ka rocket coaster, the wonderful Nitro hypercoaster, and the astonishing El Toro hybrid wood coaster that debuted last season and blew me away, will return for another year of wild thrills.
