M-I-Sea You Real Soon...Well, You'll Have to Wait Until 2008

Sunday January 21, 2007
To celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniversary in 2005, the Florida-based Disney Cruise Line sailed west to offer cruises out of Los Angeles. Apparently, the West Coast sailings were a hit, because the Disney Magic will be journeying through the Panama Canal and over to California for another round of L.A. cruises--but not until 2008. Starting in late May and continuing through mid-August of 2008, the elegant ship will make 12 seven-day cruises to the Mexican Riviera. In addition to the usual cruise ship features, the Disney ships offer lots of family-friendly touches including whimsical stage shows and onboard encounters with Mickey Mouse and his pals. As an option, guests can include a Disneyland vacation as part of a West Coast cruise.
