Blue Man Group Drumming Up Interest for Universal Orlando Auditions

Contrary to popular belief, the performers in the Blue Man Group shows are not alien beings. Apparently they are not even necessarily men (despite the name). According to a notice sent out by Universal Orlando, which will be holding open auditions for the new Blue Man show that will be taking up residence at the resort starting this summer, male and female performers with solid drumming skills, excellent acting skills, and an athletic build, could find themselves dipped in blue makeup. An open casting call will be held at Universal CityWalk from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24. The resort will hold an open casting call for Blue Man musicians (guitarists, bassists, and drummers) on the following day, Thursday, January 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit the Blue Man Group's casting site.
