Inner Water Park to Be Built Near Baltimore's Inner Harbor

Friday January 12, 2007
Let's add another state to the growing list of those that offer indoor water park resorts. Maryland will get its feet wet when the enormous Grand Isle Indoor Water Park Resort opens about eight miles from Baltimore's Inner Harbor in early 2009. According to its developers, the $200-million resort will include a 100,000-square-foot indoor water park resort--one of the largest in the country. The Florida Keys-themed water park will feature a huge assortment of water park attractions such as an uphill water coaster and a unique Boomerang halfpipe water ride. The resort will also offer four hotels and an entertainment/restaurant/retail area. Read more about the Grand Isle Indoor Water Park Resort.
