Oh, the Water Inside is Delightful. Let it Snow--Indoors.

Monday November 6, 2006
It may sound counterintuitive, but how'd you like to celebrate the holidays in your bathing suit? In Snowland? In Michigan? The Great Wolf Lodge chain of indoor water park resorts will be presenting its annual holiday event, Snowland, at its locations in Michigan, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Throughout the month of December, the resorts will be offering holiday fun in addition to the water park attractions for which they are known. Features will vary by location, but will generally include a Candy Cane Lane tableau with animated snowmen and other decorations, a North Pole University crafts workshop for kids, visits from Santa (of course) as well as Great Wolf's holiday mascot, Rowdy the Reindeer, and--get this--a holiday show that will feature music, twinkling lights, and actual snow showers (remember, this is indoors). To cap off the month-long celebration, the resorts will present a New Year's Eve SnowBall with a buffet, dancing, and duck races down the parks' water slides among the festivities.
