Dumbo isn't the Only Thing Going Up at Walt Disney World

They've done it again. A scant seven months after Disney revamped and significantly raised its admission prices, the Florida resort has announced yet another hike. Effective immediately, the one-day, one-park admission fee costs a whopping $67. That's a $4 or 6.3% jump over the previous prices. Yeesh. The Mouse House also raised fees across the board for its "Magic Your Way" program, which allows guests to purchase multi-day passes and customize their vacations. With the revised pricing, there is now less of a cost difference between a 3-day pass ($192 for ages 10 and older) and the top-tier 10-day pass ($216 for ages 10 and older). Obviously, Disney wants to keep guests on its property for much, if not all, of their vacations. The other major Florida theme parks haven't announced any similar mid-year hikes, but they typically follow Disney's lead and will probably weigh in shortly. If the Scrooge McDuck in you wants to learn how to save some Disney Dollars for your next Walt Disney World vacation, or if you want some help decoding the somewhat byzantine "Magic Your Way" program, check out my Disney World ticket pricing primer.
