Wilderness to Bring Indoor Water Park to Tennessee

The indoor water park boom continues--as well as the trend within a trend of building the weatherproof resorts in warmer climes--with the announcement by the folks from Wisconsin Dells' Wilderness indoor water park hotel that they will be building a second facility in Sevierville, Tennessee, near Knoxville. To be part of the Sevierville Events Center, the initial plans call for an indoor water park, an outdoor water park, and a 264-room hotel scheduled to open in spring 2007. Among the first indoor water park resort when it opened in 1995, Wisconsin's Wilderness Resort has expanded into the largest such facility in the U.S.
