Virginia Peel--The Italian Job Stunt Coaster En Route to Paramount's Kings Dominion

Thursday October 13, 2005
Having successfully opened two coasters based on the "The Italian Job" movie at Toronto's Canada's Wonderland and Ohio's Kings Island in 2005, Paramount Parks will be opening a clone of the rides at its Kings Dominion park in Virginia for the 2006 season. Instead of traditional cars, the stylish coaster will feature tricked-out Mini Cooper vehicles. Riders will assume the roles of stunt doubles and participate in a replay of the action film's signature chase scene complete with high-speed maneuvers and fiery explosions. Check out my preview of the ride and The Italian Job Stunt Coaster Preview Photo Gallery.
