Wet Forecast for Sandusky

Thursday August 4, 2005
First there was the Great Wolf Lodge. Then late last year, Cedar Point opened its Castaway Bay indoor water park. A few weeks ago, the huge Kalahari turned on its indoor flumes. And now, a Nebraska developer announced plans to open a fourth indoor water park in Sandusky, Ohio. According to the The Sandusky Register, Coyote Falls, a 65,000 square-foot indoor water park will bgin construction next year and open in 2008. With all of the parks sprouting up, Sandusky is starting to resemble Wisconsin Dells, the world's chlorination capital. Its developers say that Coyote Falls will include 350 hotel rooms.
