SeaWorld Orlando's New Water Park Slides will Have a Twist

If SeaWorld Orlando can get approval for its proposed plans, Central Florida will have another water park--but this one will have marine animals as well as humans splashing around. According to Florida Today, the as-yet-unnamed third gate will include the usual water park rides, but will present them in a "naturalistic" setting. SeaWorld says that one of the highlights will be a water slide through clear tubes that will woosh past a pool of Commerson's dolphins. A SeaWorld spokesman also says that the new park will aim for a "high level of service without long lines." That sounds like the water park may adopt the model of SeaWorld's second park, Discovery Cove, which charges high prices (up to $259 per person), suggests advance reservations, and limits the number of guests to offer a high-end, exclusive experience. Discovery Cove also allows guests to interact with dolphins and other marine animals. SeaWorld hopes to open the new water park in 2007.

I am very DIAPPOINTED that People that’s living in Orlando don’t get DICOUNTS, The ONLY WAY WE WILL GET A DISCOUNT IS WE GET A HOTEL, WHY SHOULD WE GET A HOTEL WHEN WERE LIVING HERE, IT WOULD COAST MORE MONEY TO GET A HOTEL YOUR NOT REALLY HAVING MONEY ON THE DISCOUNT TICKETS, I THINK IT IS WRONG, I HAVE SOME PEOPLE COMING DOWN HERE FOR THE SUMMER,I WAS HOPING TO TAKE THEM TO THE NEW WATER PARK AT SEA WORLD, BUT NOW WE ARE GOING TO SOME WARE ELSE INSTEAD OF YOUR PARK, I RATHER SPEND MY MONEY AND TIME AT A NOTHER THEME PARKS, I WILL PASS IT ON TO ALL MY FRIEND AND FAMILLIES AND TELL THEM IT’S WRONGTHAT YOU DONT HAVE DISCOUNT FOR FL RESIDENTS.
