We Have Nothing to Fear but Fear (and some Nasty Bugs) Itself-- See the Video

Thursday April 21, 2005
In a few weeks, the Universal Studios theme parks in Florida and Hollywood will be debuting Fear Factor Live, an interactive stadium show that will feature guests performing variations on the crazy, and sometimes gross, stunts seen on the hit NBC television show. Universal has produced a slick video to promote the new attraction. It looks like the shows could be fun--if your idea of fun is freefalling to within an inch of your life and eating giant bugs. If, however, your tastes are more cultured--say, pizza and burgers--Universal Studios Hollywood is offering an all-you-can-eat deal. For one price, guests can pig out to their congealed heart's content all day at the park's Jurassic Cove Café and Mel's Diner. After spending a fearful day chomping on nasty bugs, Florida residents may want to chill out by staying on-property at one of Universal Orlando's wonderful hotels. Special spring rates start at $139 and include Universal Orlando hotel perks like no-line, no-wait access to most attractions at both theme parks.
