The Latest Spin from Six Flags: Two More Coasters Coming to MA
Thursday February 24, 2005
Six Flags New England announced that it will be adding a spinning coaster, Mr. Six’s Pandemonium (named after the park company's geriatric spokesman with the unusually happy feet), to the dry side of the park, while its Hurricane Harbor water park will be getting Typhoon, an uphill water coaster. To read a review and see some photos of an uphill water coaster (as its name implies, jets of water propel the ride's rafts uphill), check out my coverage of Rendezvous Run, the uphill water coaster at Cedar Point's Castaway Bay in Sandusky, OH. Six Flags has a lot of great news about new rides and other 2005 season developments. I'll be compiling all of the info and preparing an overview shortly. Until then, you can mosey on over to my "What's New" feature to see some of the coasters and attractions debuting at other parks this season.
