Making a (Shopping) List, CHECKing it Twice

Monday January 3, 2005
I know what you're thinking: Enough with the holiday stuff already. New Year's Day is over, it's 2005, let's get on with it. But Holiday World, the wonderful theme park in Santa Claus, Indiana (yes, that's the real name of the town), celebrates Christmas (along with Halloween and the Fourth of July) all year long--or at least when the seasonal park is open during the warmer months. And you can celebrate all year long too by customizing your personal checks with scenes from Holiday World. According to the park, Carousel Checks now offers checks with the Holiday World logo or pictures of the park's Santa Claus. If you'd rather forego the holly jolly stuff, you can also order checks with other Holiday World pictures including shots of its famous wooden coasters, The Raven and The Legend. Whatever checks you use, just remember to start writing "2005" in the date line.
