Hooray for Dollywood

Monday December 6, 2004
Have you always wanted to work at a theme park? Are you a talented performer or someone with theatrical experience? This could be your big break. Dollywood, the Tennessee theme park named after (and themed for) Ms. Parton, is looking for a few good singers, actors, specialty performers, musicians, and stage techs for the 2005 season. Auditions will be held in Nashville on January 15, in Cincinnati on January 22, in Atlanta on January 29,and at the theme park in Pigeon Forge on February 5 and 6. It probably wouldn't hurt to work up a killer rendition of "Islands in the Stream." The Dollywood Web site has more audition info. Dollywood is among the many seasonal parks now open to celebrate the holidays.
