A Disney Resort for $55? That'll Cure the Winter Blues.
Monday November 22, 2004
Winter's fast approaching and for many folks that means cold days, colder nights, snow, ice, runny noses, and...did I mention cold? Perhaps the best time for those in northern climes to pack up the family and head for sunny Florida is the dead-of-winter months of January and February. And Disney has a deal to help turn your winter retreat into reality. Called "Disney Winter Resort Savings" (not a particularly original or catchy name, but to-the-point), Walt Disney World is offering select Disney Value resorts (i.e., Pop Century and the All-Star hotels) from $55 per night in January through mid-February and from $79 per night from mid-February through mid-April. Among the catches: Disney is only releasing a limited number of rooms at these rates, and you must book by December 1. Check out my recently updated Florida Travel Deals page for more info about Disney's winter savings plus additional discounts and promotions to trim your theme park vacation budget.
