Who's (not Going to Be) the Leader of the Company that's Adored by You and Me?

Friday September 10, 2004
All together now: "M I C..." Walt Disney Company CEO Michael Eisner says he'll be saying, "See you real soon," by retiring from his position in September 2006, according to CBS MarketWatch. The embattled 62-year-old chief executive, who has endured a bitter campaign led by Roy Disney to resign, will leave the company when his contract expires. Under Eisner's watch, the company added a bunch of theme parks around the world and is currently building the fifth Magic Kingdom park in Hong Kong. According to the CBS story, Eisner has picked Disney President Bob Iger as his successor.
