i took my kids to six flags in Maryland it was the worst park i have ever went to. the people there didnt even check to make sure the safety beats were tight on the kiddie rides i couldn’t believe what i was seeing. we left the park at 3:00 pm i had enough. those parks are un safe it was just a matter of time before something happen. I’m so sorry it had to they should close all the six flag parks and the goverment or who ever checks them should look at all the rides and retrain the employees
I’M PERSONALLY A COASTER FANATIC BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT ACCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN. I MYSELF DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE BELT IS ON SECURELY AND THAT THE HANDLES ARE TIGHTLY IN PLACE. HAS ANYONE BEEN TO THE 6 FLAGS IN VALLEJO, CA?? WELL, ITS PRETTY SAFE THERE BUT YOU NEVER KNOW BECAUSE IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS AND ONE OVERLOOKED THING TO END YOUR LIFE SO BE SAFE AND KEEP RIDING.. SAFELY. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY DEATHS AND YOU CAN LOOK THEM UP TOO. TRY THE ONE ABOUT SUPERMAN TOWER OF POWER OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED, WHERE A GIRL’S FEET WERE CHOPPED OFF BECAUSE OF LOOSE WIRES. AND THAT WAS JUST RECENTLY. I HOPE SHE’S OKAY AND FOR MORE INFO REGARDING TRAGIC ROLLER COASTER DEATHS.. GOOGLE IT!!
what you need to think about is this can happen with any roller coaster
Larry, thanks for writing. Coasters are extraordinarily safe. Whenever an accident happens, however, it plays into our worst fears and gets an inordinate amount of attention. This was indeed a tragic accident, but the park added additional safety restraints and changed its guidelines to prevent future accidents. Driving to parks is significantly more dangerous than riding on any of the rides inside the park.

I like how it is decribed that Stanley fell out of the ride, guess noone told you that the workers did not belt him in properly.I know i was in the seat behind him.
